For characters with a partially amputated tail, usually leaving only a small stub left. Among horses it is commonly also done by simply cropping the hair of the tail short.
Most commonly seen among dogs, and usually only in certain breeds, e.g. Boxer, Pit Bull, Miniature Pinscher, Doberman Pinscher, Rottweiler and Schnauzer.
