History: For whatever reason, Hyperion (or rather, Iaden) was always very quiet and reserved, even as a child, in contrast to the typical outgoing picture one paints of ramiotrans. Instead of going out and being loud in the streets, he chose to stay home and learn how to do things like cook, farm, brew, and construct things from wood and clay, from both of his parents. Though they were worried about their son's social growth, they supported his endeavors and creations, figuring that those things were not causing anyone any grief. He wasn't shy or insecure, he just did not like being around people for very long, usually because of noise or a simple lack of interest. Most people around him didn't have the same interests he did anyway.

He performed well in school, but upon reaching adulthood he chose to start a project in the forests south of town to build his own place and work his own land using what he learned from his parents. It took about a month, but he eventually assembled a small cabin in a quarry and claimed a small plot of land around it with which he worked and farmed.

Despite what worries his family had, he lived well and did so with a reserved happiness he did not easily show. He spends his time working his modest lands and year-round flora and constructing pipes, pots, jars, and other containers to sell in town every-other weekend, making enough to live comfortably and buy the few things he needs. He was not offered his role until his 40s, which he reluctantly accepted. It seemed like it was not long after then that he was called to Faradus with the others to try to stop the formation of Tokoyami, which of course ended in failure. With that result, he headed back home and continued his normal way of life until Rikujo gave the signal to Hyperion to go north. Instead of going there right away, he went south to seek out Kufuata, a southern Ramiotran he often sold wares to (and the closest thing he had to a friend), to act as a Keeper. Kufuata obliged and saw Hyperion off as he left for northern tropical Ramios in search of the host Rikujo was intent to find. While not too thrilled to find the host would be a faraden, he accepted it and fulfilled his role, bonding host with force. Luckily, given Monty's easygoing nature, even Hyperion could not always be ornery.
