History: Born with a heart defect that later developed into congestive heart failure. Lycaena wasn't able to run and play outside like others, growing easily tired and dizzy. Growing up, she wanted less for socialization and more for learning and creating. She picked up math very easily, excelled in school, and grew interested in the "tech boom" of the time. Spending most of her savings, she purchased/assembled a small computer and started picking up programming. Most programs at the time were small projects with little importance, but she proved to learn very quickly. She managed to convince those working at Hinkley's tech facility to allow her an internship, originally not wanting much to do with her over her age. She was given a stipend and an apartment to stay in while working on the projects in the facility - including SYSCAN and the joined facilities in Candor - the internship turning into a full-time job. After several years working in Hinkley, a grey zone alert sounded through the town and the town gate was closed. While that wasn't uncommon, yelling about an unknown individual entering the grey zone commenced, which piqued Lycaena's curiosity. After the grey zone dissipated, the stranger fled to the forest, seeing the armed guards around the town gate. Lycaena shoved past the guards when the gate reopened in search of the stranger, finding them hiding behind a large boulder. She managed to coax them out of hiding-- a tall rainforest ratteguhn she would call Theta. After taking Theta to the town to introduce him, and meeting often over the next couple of months, she bought some amenities to sustain him and invited him to live in her temporary apartment.
