History: His mother had fallen for a deciduous male near their homelands, resulting in Andromeda (§). The others of their family group shunned the two and moved grounds to be farther away from his father, his mother losing contact with him very early on. She tried her best to raise him alone, with little help from the others of the family group, but when she fell ill there was nobody to care for her when she needed it most. She passed away when Andromeda was about the age of twelve and he was ousted from the group, blaming him for her passing.
He fled the homegrounds and settled on the outskirts of those from another, becoming acquainted with a young female taiga ratteguhn, Xultza. Xultza tried to convince her family (and group leaders) to allow Andromeda to become part of their group, but they would not allow it given both the size of their group and Andromeda's clear hybrid appearance. Xultza still maintained her friendship with him despite their desires, the both of them growing close over the following years. Her father, fearing what may come, forced Xultza into an arranged marriage to finally sever the ties she had with Andromeda and force him to leave their territory. After not seeing her for a few days, he then saw her with an unknown male and immediately knew something was wrong. On the night he was preparing to leave the grounds, he was surprised by Xultza, who stamped her marriage band into the ground and urged him to leave with her. Taking advantage of the time, they both fled northwest as far as their legs could carry them, never to see those old lands again.
After arriving to what would be their new home, the both of them made and gifted their own marriage bands to each other. Due to happenings before their departure, Xultza later gave birth to a pair of boys: Cocytus and Zaael. A short time later they adopted Allophos. Andromeda pierced his left ear once for each child.
While Andromeda still holds some resentment for his appearance, Xultza's care and reassurance has helped him greatly with his insecurities. He was approached by Tambora to fulfill the role of Keeper in his late teens after arriving to their new homelands.
