Gorillaz is a British virtual band created in 1998 by Damon Albarn (from the Britpop band Blur) and Jamie Hewlett (co-creator of the comic book Tank Girl).
The virtual band consists of fours animated members, Stuart Pot (a.k.a. 2-D, Stu-Pot or Pot), Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russel Hobbs.
