The frill that runs along the top of the head, often in the center and extending down the back of the head, where it sometimes links up with the one running down the spine.
Commonly seen on reptilian characters and some Pokémon.

Not to be confused with:

• ear_frills, which are frills that are on the sides of the head and take the place of ears.
