Species: wild horse
The wild horse (Equus ferus) is the species of equine from which the domestic horse descended. This species contains only three subspecies, one of which (the tarpan) is extinct.
*For the sake of convenience, this tag should not be used on images of domestic horses similar to the rules for wolf and wildcat.
*This should not be used for feral horses. Just use horse for those.
