"Pterippus" is a word invented by Rich's Pegopedia to name a winged horse, popularly known as a pegasus. In Greek Mythology, Pegasus was a single winged stallion born from the blood of Medusa and there was no species that he would belong to.

If a creature is equine and possesses both a horn and wings, it should be tagged as winged unicorn instead. Pterippus / Pegasus should not be tagged with either horse or pony for the same character.
