Prequel is a webcomic created by Kazerad. It is set in the Elder Scrolls universe created by Bethesda Softworks, and takes place before the events of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, hence the name of the comic. The comic stars a female khajiit named Katia Managan who arrives in Tamriel's province of Cyrodiil in a bid to start a new life for herself.

Prequel initially began as an illustrated forum game on the MS Paint Adventures forums before spinning off onto its own website. It uses an MS Paint Adventures-style user command system where readers influence the protagonist by acting as her internal conscience. Prequel is written primarily in the second-person, with all of Katia's actions being described as 'you' doing them.
