Desert ramiotran are a variant of ramiotran, a species created by Ratte, and one of the intelligent species of the legacy stories.

average height: 5'11
average weight: 155lbs
typical fur color: sandy yellow with cream or white countershading, face, sleeves, and feet
typical markings color: yellow ochre back of neck, face stripes, shoulders, and back
typical horn color: yellow-tan
typical hair colors: raw umber to russet
typical eye colors: deep emerald through harlequin green

Special features:
-spiraled horns, smooth
-mane and tail fan are short and rough and the same color
-long narrow face, wide-eyed
-generally lithe bodytype
-shortest of the three groups
-rarely has any facial hair

colors are the same range as males

Special features:
-horns "flatten" and curve slightly outwards, no spiral
-mane and tail fan are usually kept longer than those on males
-long narrow face, wide-eyed, long eyelashes
-neck fringe is much shorter, if not completely absent
-shortest of the three groups, just like their males
-no facial hair

The northerns are the smallest and occupy the deserts and scrublands of northern Ramios, sharing some boundaries with cyavians to the northwest and ratteguhns to the northeast. They're generally considered the most cosmopolitan given their position and more frontal access to trade between the other two northern regions. They are fairly thin and lithe, best built for running.
