3d fluid sim
A technique used to create very realistic fluids in 3D animations. 3D fluid simulation is used to make fluids that can splash and dribble as opposed to old methods which more closely resembled tinted glass and moved very stiffly or other old methods that make a two dimensional transparent picture and have it overlayed or stretched between two three dimensional objects, which resembled a spider web. It is made by simulating many points separately and how they would interact, instead of one large object that needs to be manually bent and moved to look similar to the real thing.
