Species: fishing cat
The fishing cat (Prionailurus viverrinus), not to be confused with the fisher cat, is a medium-sized cat native to South and Southeast Asia. They typically live in wetlands such as swamps and marshes. They hunt along watercourses, grabbing prey such as fish from the water or diving in the water for it. They are classified as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
