The average Basterran is about 210cm/7ft tall, they are a feline/vulpine hybrid species, while most members have wings, some sub-species may lack them.

All Basterrans are hermaphrodite, and reproduce through eggs, which they either incubate in their wombs, or incubator facilities. Their peculiar reproduction takes place with two tentacles, one coming out from the slit between their legs, and another coming out from their mouth, which normally serves as tongue on day to day life.

Their visible body features may vary between male and female aspects, and slowly change back and forth during their lives in reaction to different hormonal and environmental balances.
