resting on belly

Resting on belly describes poses where a character is supporting most or all of their weight on their own very large belly while it is touching the ground.
Most commonly, a character will be laying on front, legs resting on their belly, up in the air or making "light contact" with the ground (but not supporting the character). In some cases the character may straddle their belly, even grinding or humping the belly. For quadrupeds like taurs and most ferals, resting on their belly involves the character in a neutral standing pose, their belly making contact with the ground, and their legs laying on and around the belly.
Because of the size of the belly needed for these poses, this is most commonly seen in vore and inflation content, but may also be seen with morbidly obese characters.
Not to be confused with:
1. A character resting their head on another character's belly/midsection — use head on belly instead
2. A smaller character laying on a larger character's belly — use lying on another instead
3. A character's belly lying on the ground, while the character is sitting or standing (not supporting their weight with the belly) — use belly on ground
