Species: scipionyx
Scipionyx samniticus is a species of Theropod Dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous of Italy, from around 113 million years ago. The generic name meaning "Scipio's claw".
It's a Bipedal predator. With a long tail balancing the body. Probably covered in primitive feathers. With a diet including fish and lizards.
It's known from a single fossil of a juvenile individual under half a meter (20 inches) long. The adult size remains unknown.
