Dora the Kid (Japanese: ドラ・ザ・キッド | Dora za Kiddo) is one of the prominent members of The Doraemons and amongst the last to obtain the 'Bestfriend Telecard', along with Doraemon. Kid works as a deputy in the American frontier along with his colleague: the old sheriff and his granddaughter. At some point, he joined the Time Patrol as a special agent.

Kid looks exactly like Doraemon before the latter lost his ears. He wears sheriffs clothes, and always has the Air Cannon on his right hand. Kid does not have a fourth-dimensional Pocket and instead takes his gadgets out of his cowboy hat.

He is a cowboy whose aspiration is to become the best marksman in the universe, and to take flight and explore the stars, despite his fear of heights. Though he always said that girls are troublesome, he is actually sweet and romantic when it comes to dealing with girls (with his girlfriend Dorami).
