Michelle is a hypothetical character who exists outside of the alderian universe.

Universal Origin:
In the comic "Starting Over", the human universe and the alderian universe only coincide for a brief moment when Enton Fisher is thrown through a portal. Because of his location in relation to the lab (in Colorado Springs) that created the portal, and the fact that the portal destroyed itself during its first test run, Enton was the only alderian to enter the human universe.

Michelle's existence is purely hypothetical. In her reality, the portal happened about 250 years ago as a result of stellar phenomena, rather than a result of a failed lab experiment. This portal was far less localized to the Colorado Springs area and was spread thinner across a larger region of Colorado. In total, less than 100 alderians were relocated to the human universe. In this reality, alderians have had time to reproduce and spread across the United States, with some relocating to other major cities across the globe (Michelle stayed in the central USA). Alderians are still extremely rare among humans. While they've adapted well to living among humans, they generally have a hard time finding a mate, since there are still so few of them in the world. Many of them have taken to relationships with humans and have married, however, due to genetic differences, humans and alderians are unfortunately unable to have kids together. Michelle isn't bothered by this though, as she grew up chasing human men instead of alderian men, and is okay with the idea of adoption in the distant future.

Since Enton and Michelle exist in two separate realities, they will never canonically meet each other.

Hobbies/Career:
Michelle works in the live entertainment industry, mainly in lighting and special effects. Ever since she was a little girl, she was obsessed with things that flashed, blinked, or made noise. She used to make sculptures out of flashlights and lanterns she found around the house before she saw her first concert with her school. After that, she became obsessed with learning about stage lighting and control systems for special effects, and has since made a living out of it. Now, she is well-known and respected in the industry as:
- Lighting designer
- Lighting operator
- Pyrotechnician
- Rigger (upper and lower)
- Laser operator (doesn't have her certification yet, but most shows she's worked have let it slide since she knows proper safety protocols)

She also knows a little bit about audio, though not as much. People tend to assume Michelle specializes in sound because of the size of her ears. In a pinch, she knows how to mix, and can perform basic EQ functions, but can do little else.

While her career started off as a hobby, she plans to keep her other hobbies to herself. They include:
- Gaming
- Soldering and electronic tinkering
- Programming
- Watching movies/shows

She also has interests in first aid and human anatomy, but doesn't plan to utilize those for a living.
