A Meepit is a Petpet resembling a hamster, with large eyes, buckteeth, a tufted tail, and usually a magenta body. They're known for their thousand-yard stares and, because of that, a running gag in the Neopets universe is that they must be planning some kind of elaborate evil scheme. They're also fond of chewing on electric cables, and are usually blamed (tongue-in-cheek) whenever the site is experiencing technical difficulties.
