Gurokawa is a j-fashion trend that began in the early 2010s that mixes "kawaii" aesthetics with gory and macabre imagery. It has some similarities to menhera and pastel goth, however, menhera mainly focuses on medical and mental health themes, and pastel goth focuses on traditional gothic imagery.
Eyeball accessories, bones, and fake blood are all common elements, along with pastel colors.
