SCP-001-TUFTO, aka, The Scarlet King is one of the many proposals for SCP-001 in the SCP Foundation Mythos.

It is a major overarching antagonist of the many narratives within the collaborative fiction and lore. However, the exact appearance, nature, or powers/abilities of The Scarlet King are currently unknown. What is known is that trying to understand these things make the Scarlet King more powerful and dangerous.

What is known is that The Scarlet King is directly associated with SCP-213, SCP-2137, and the Daevites.

The Scarlet King is also the father of SCP-682, SCP-999 and at least 5 other anomalies.

It is falsely classified as Safe in order to reduce the amount of interest in learning about The Scarlet King.
