Species: redtail catfish
The Red-tailed Catfish is a freshwater species of catish that has a broad head with long whiskers, along with a dark black body and white underneath it that extends from the mouth to the caudal fin. Their tails are red and so are the dorsal, pelvic, and anal fins sometimes. They can be found in rivers, streams, lakes and ponds in the Amazon, Orinoco and Essequibo river basins.
