Midas is a minor antagonist in Cult of the Lamb. Midas is a blue starfish with a cyan spot around his hands and mouth. He wears a gold crown with a red crystal protruding from it. He wears a brown and yellow robe, only showing his hands and head. He has an upside-down cross between his eyes.

Midas is first encountered in his cave, which can be discovered being advertised on a sign located in Silk Cradle. Midas himself has the ability to teleport around the cave and will offer various services for The Lamb in exchange for gold. The exception being his thrown: Midas will offer to give The Lamb up to 4 Holy Talisman Fragments in exchange for sacrificing their Followers to him. The act of doing so will result in The Follower being converted into a golden statue and added to Midas' Art Gallery.
Followers given to Midas cannot be brought back using the ritual of resurrection, as the the followers are in fact still alive within the statues. Some of them can even be seen struggling and even speaking from within the Statue.

After The Lamb completes the main game, they can encounter Midas on subsequent Crusades, where he will insult and mug The Lamb before teleporting away. This happends up to 3 times at which point the Lamb can choose to take their revenge on Midas and reclaim their stolen wealth.
