Onee Gyaru, literally "big sister gyaru", is a substyle of Gyaru more commonly worn by women in their 20s and 30s, putting a classier spin on typical Gyaru fashion. Onee Gyaru is focused on maturity and sexiness, and emphasizes brand clothing. Leopard print is still common, but in general the style is much more toned down.

Common elements of the style include sunglasses, use of pinks/purples/blacks/gold, curled hair (or wavy) in blonde and light brown, thigh boots, fluffy/fuzzy clothing, and leather and latex. Typical gyaru staples such as animal print, loose socks and miniskirts are still common, though the style is typically much more subtle.

Due to its subtlety, it is one of the blurrier substyles, being harder to pinpoint. It may sometimes overlap with amekaji and/or tsuyome.
