A space force (also known as star force or space navy) is a branch of a military organization responsible for space warfare. They employ space marines (combat astronauts), satellites, spacecraft (such as starfighters and space warships), space-to-ground vehicles (such as dropships an drop_pods), and other space-based weapons systems.

As a tag this refers to characters who look like they're part of the space forces as well as scenes, settings, and locations that are associated with anything space force related such as planetary invasions, zero gravity operations and spacecraft boarding assaults.
