The Great Knife was a massive single-edged greatsword wielded by Pyramid Head and then later James Sunderland from the Silent Hill franchise. As its name implies the weapon bears resemblance to that of a kitchen knife or a combat knife in later iterations. It is extremely heavy; So much so that the wielders of the weapon are often seen dragging it from behind them as they walk, unable to run. It is also the strongest weapon in the game, damage-wise, but it's also very unwieldy as it takes some time to swing the blade.
