The Goat is a character introduced in the award-winning indie rogue-lite game Cult of the Lamb. They are the second playable character in the game, introduced in 2024's Unholy Alliance Update for the purpose of local Co-op.

The Goat's appearance is that of a inverse reflection to that of The Lamb. The Goat appears to be an ugly anthropomorphic goat with grey skin and black fur. Their eyes are black with white irises and black horizontal pupils. Around their neck is a black collar with a silver bell. This collar also secures their purple fleece to their body. The Goat has chestnut colored ram horns and atop its head is a black crown with a purple eye. This crown, known as The Purple Crown serves as The Goat's connection to their equivalent of "The One Who Waits" and grants them access to their supernatural powers. Namely their ability to manifest magical weapons and tools. When channeling their power's The Goat's eyes glow red and blood flows from the lower lid.

The Goat is apparently a dark (dark being the operative word here) reflection of the Lamb from a parallel dimension. The Lamb was able to summon the Goat or the Goat was able to summon the Lamb, to aid in their respective quest to spread their cult's influence. Unlike, the Lamb who is gender ambiguous, the Goat is explicitly stated to be gender non-binary, much like Shamura.
