A style where an artist has a character's eyes circular, (usually) black, and shaped similar to a pie that had a piece sliced out. The pie cut eyes style goes all the way back to the 1920-1930's and are also referred to as "pacman eyes" due to the similarity of the character's design back in the 1980 arcade game.
