Patreon is a crowdfunding platform. Many artists use the site to post and monetize their artwork.
Artists can post their content freely on the site, however many require pledging a certain amount of money and explicit artwork is required to be behind a pledge by the site itself. Because of this, many artworks usually have the Patreon logo included in the artwork itself when content is being released outside of Patreon.
The tag should only be used if the Patreon logo and/or wordmark is being used or if the website itself is visible somewhere on the artwork.
The original Patreon logo consists of an orange round logo where the background/edges are same color as the letter "P" in the middle of it. After June 2017, the logo is a much simpler dark blue square at the left and a reddish orange circle aligned on the top right.
Example of the "old" patreon logo and wordmark (left) and the "new" patreon logo and wordmark (right).

Do note that artists often change coloring and stylizing of the logo to fit in their artwork better, but all of these alterations are still tagged with the copyright.
- If an artist has Patreon, please add the url to the artist wiki instead.
- If the artwork is from Patreon, add the url to the source field instead.
- If the post has Patreon URL only, then use the url tag instead. If both the URL and logo are present, use both.
- If the logo is being used to obstruct part of image, use the censored tag as well. However the guidelines currently in place treat these as advertisement and they are discouraged to be uploaded.
