History: Yagarai was a corruption conjured by Tokoyami with the intention of serving as bait to lure Carinae and Yami. Despite seeming like the perfect host, neither seemed to appear, even with an artificial soul-- made from the negative energy itself. Though artificial, the soul functioned very similar to "natural" souls-- Yagarai could talk, think, plan, and feel, and not just rely on instinct. Despite the aggressive typing, even when young and inexperienced, she showed little interest in violence, instead showing interest in the world around her. While Yagarai was deemed a failure, she was still made to serve as a scout for possible hosts so that Tokoyami could find and destroy them. Yagarai took the opportunity instead to seek out and warn those people of what's to come, saving them from a grisly fate and doing what she could to keep Tokoyami at bay. Growing more hostile, Tokoyami attempted to destroy Yagarai through its connection of negative energy, but due to Yagarai's soul and willpower the connection was severed, freeing her of her bonds to the beast. She fled and started a mission to find the real hosts, to form the group needed to finally neutralize Tokoyami. The caveat for her resolve would be her demise, however, as when the energy balance is restored, all corruptions will disappear.
