I drive a compact 3-cyl turbo sedan that gets like 45MPG on the highway (5.0L/100K), where the only penalty is having to use premium (on a high-boost tune) which is like $5.75 USD/gal. I just roll my eyes at the extreme proliferation of huge SUVs with prices like these.

SUV’s are a major gas guzzler. That’s why I prefer smaller cars. Also that fact that I have no kids and still single works out perfectly.

Also the gas price spiked up to almost 5 bucks here about several months ago. Now it’s starting to cease just a minor amount. Still not as cheap for a 2 dollar difference less per gallon.

I’ve been seeing a lot of Tesla’s and electric KIA’s roaming around recently. We’re slowly but surely gettin’ to that time of the future, ‘yote.
