SUV’s are a major gas guzzler. That’s why I prefer smaller cars. Also that fact that I have no kids and still single works out perfectly.

Also the gas price spiked up to almost 5 bucks here about several months ago. Now it’s starting to cease just a minor amount. Still not as cheap for a 2 dollar difference less per gallon.

I’ve been seeing a lot of Tesla’s and electric KIA’s roaming around recently. We’re slowly but surely gettin’ to that time of the future, ‘yote.

Which is good, to a point: our battery technology needs to take a massive leap forward, and we (and I mean a lot of the planet) need to stop using fossil fuels to generate electricity. Until these things happen, full-electric cars are only a stopgap measure, and are just not practical once you get away from a major city.
