Implicating exposed_breasts → breasts

Reason:

Exposed or not, they are still breasts... However, I'm not sure if it's worth keeping or not and would like some feedback.

Technically this would refer to exposing them (clothing on top/bottom, keyhole turtleneck, etc.) rather than someone just being topless, but I'm not sure if that is something we want to keep. If we do keep it I think it should imply clothed, the same way that cleavage does.

We also have one_breast_out (71), which follows the same concept, but I'm not sure what to do with it at the moment.

An interesting topic was inadvertently brought up to me by ippiki_ookami, on post #540952. He removed the breasts tag on that post, even though they're clearly visible, albeit clothed.

Should the tag remain, or not? And if so, why?

I suppose it does make sense if we are to be consistent. We don't tag penis or erection for even obvious bulges, we don't tag pussy for cameltoe. Unfortunately we don't have a comparable tag to fall back (not that we really need it, but it does help with tagging projects). If this is put into place breasts rating:s -cleavage -keyhole_turtleneck -bra (and similar for rating:q) is going to need a massive cleanup.

This may cause issues with certain tags like breast_grab, holding_breasts, and potentially titfuck (if done from under a shirt so you cannot see them—I have no idea if this exists). It's a bit hard to search for them because clothing and breast-related tags (like cleavage) are fairly undertagged, but here's at least 1 example I found:

So for this post we would have to either sever the breast_grab implication for the handful of posts this may apply to or remove both breast_grab and breasts.

I'm not sure of the direction we should go with this, but this seems like something that will always need very regular cleanups if enforced.

Plain and simple, e621 policy is to "tag what you see".

If I see breasts, then I will tag it as so. There's no point in over-complicating the matter, nor is there the need to remove breasts from all things clothing. There's thousands of posts describing as such, and in my eyes, that's enough evidence to justify this train of thought.

There's no bulge equivalent for breasts, and it'd make no sense to create one: because those would still get tagged as breasts nine times out of ten.

And we need some tag to be able to either search or exclude those, so obviously the breasts tag needs to remain.

Tagging exposed ones as exposed_breasts seems like a good idea, though getting all of those tagged would take a massive amount of work. Not sure if it's worthwhile, when searching for breasts ~topless ~nude is almost as good.

Here's what we currently have left of this thread:

• exposed_breasts (OP)
• one_breast_out
• floppy_breasts
• jiggling_breasts, breast_jiggle
• sagging_breasts
• swinging_breasts

Most of these are fairly unused so what we do with them is pretty wide open, however one_breast_out (67) and exposed_breasts (175) still have a number of posts on them. Here are my thoughts:

• exposed_breasts - Keep OR empty tag and leave as-is (unaliased)
• one_breast_out - Keep
• floppy_breasts - Empty tag
• jiggling_breasts, breast_jiggle Alias one to the other OR empty tag
• Alias: sagging_breasts -> natural_breasts
• swinging_breasts - Probably keep (unless there's a similar tag to alias it to)

Almost all of the 100 breast_lift posts are better classified as holding_breasts. Is everyone okay with me switching them over manually and then creating a breast_lift -> holding_breasts alias?
