"This artist?" That's the username you're using tough. Probably best to instead say "I now go by this shorter name."

Also, for future reference, you're allowed to use the "reason" field to list "related aliases."

i thought i sorted this out in your other thread earlier today.

if these are different names you have gone by as an artist then put them in the "other names" field on an artist tag: fibs

i don't see a need to alias them since that does the same thing, doesn't it?

No. Those are just there for reference. You still need the actual aliases for that to work.

'course, not everything needs to be aliased. Only the names that might get tagged again.

oh, uh...is it necessarily a bad thing that i just went ahead and changed the artist tags on the related posts to fibs ahead of the alias(es) being confirmed then? only took a few minutes.

Nah, manual cleanup is fine in some cases.
Devilishimmorality hasn't been tagged recently, so an alias is probably not needed. Unless it's likely to be tagged again in the future.
