Topic: Tag Discussion: personification

Stumbled on personification tag while dealing with humanoidized tagging. There's no wiki entry for it, and it seems to have varied use currently. It looks like it's being used to mean anthrofied, humanized, or humanoidized...and yet elsewhere it seems to be used for anything with "self-awareness" that wouldn't otherwise have it.

Anyone know what this tag is supposed to be used for so we can play clean-up on it?

By its definition, personification is to add human-like qualities to animals, inanimate objects, or abstract notions, something that is quite common in art.

Off of the top of my head, we already have anthrofied, humanized, humanoidized, and pokemorph. Those are specified and I don't really see the point of implying them into one core tag, not when virtually everything on e621 is human-like as is.

So in short, I would vouch its removal or its clean up.

Almost everything is already covered by those other tags.
There's also the inanimate species tag for living objects and such. (Which should probably be renamed to something like... animate_inanimate?)

Maybe personification could be used as the species tag for more intangible things? Like that Playstation logo and posts such as...
