I couldn't find a discussion on this, but is there any consensus on what tagging process should be implemented for these? I have seen many variations but nothing consistent. Last I remember is that they "just shouldn't be tagged friendship_is_magic", but I may have imagined that.

Ideally I'd like to get something more permanent set up. I'm willing to take on the project, but I'd like to get some input before I start blindly changing tags.

I should think that you should be able to get away with adding in a copyright tag for mlp_(generation_#) or generation_#_(mlp) in addition to mlp. (You'd want to have a way to keep Generation 1 and Generation 2 MLP separate from Transformers Generation 1 and Generation 2, at the very least.)

I remember a couple being tagged with that. That's one of the reasons I started to pull g1 tags off until I realized I should hold off so I don't have to find them again (until there's a proper tag or decided that there shouldn't be one).
