I could use a tag like that. Let's see what the others think.

That sounds good. Such a tag would allow tags to create a difference between nekomimis and characters wearing fake ears.

That's exactly what I meant. Before anthros wearing fake ears, couldn't easily be separated from catgirls and the others of that type.

I already have made it my little project to cull the ordinary anthros from the animal_ears group, adding this one is no big deal. Admittedly, I have probably missed some that are hidden by my blacklist, but if this tag, fake_ears, is o.k. with everyone, I plan to do a much more thorough job of it.

I've also been trying to figure out what to do with them. I don't really acknowledge the animal_ears tag much though since I don't deal with anthro, but fake_ears would help quite a bit for equestria_girls posts since they both wear fake pony ears and get randomly turned into anthro.

We might want to consider fake_tail while we're at it, but I'm not sure how easy/useful that would be since:

1. Identifying whether it is "real" or not is difficult because it's usually hidden under clothing
2. If they have obvious fake ears, it's likely that they have a tail (see 1. above)

Fake_tail sounds good as well. If that is also acceptable, should buttplug_tail implicate fake_tail?

I think a buttplug_tail should be tagged with both fake_tail and sex_toy.

So, sounds like we are all in agreement that the fake_ears tag is valid. Should animal_ears be separate from fake_ears, or not. I don't feel an implication would be good, since I'm pretty certain I've seen fake human ears.

I like this tag. I know it's been decided to use it, but just wanted to acknowledge its usefulness some more :P
