The wiki shows that rear_view, view_from_behind, and back_to_viewer have all been aliased to "back_turned," though the wiki itself is empty. I'm not sure this tag is being used for what makes sense. We end up with things like post #427301 being tagged as "back_turned," though I wouldn't call it that at all. Previously it seems like pretty much all of those options were covered by "from_behind," though now that has been clarified to only be used where there is sex going on and the do-er is behind the do-ee.

may all be technically images with the "back_turned," the "view_from_behind" tag makes so much more sense. I move to alias "rear_view," "back_to_viewer," and "back_turned" to "view_from_behind."

If this discussion really took place, sorry, I only did a cursory forum search and found this, but it looks like this alias just happened without really getting discussed.

I've actually been thinking of suggesting that, so... support.
It feels weird to tag back_turned on images where the back isn't actually visible. :/

Though I think rear_view would be a better main tag than view_from_behind. It's shorter, and uniform with side_view, front_view, first_person_view, etc.

Support for all the same reasons, and do agree with Genjar about rear_view.

Sorry for bumping an old topic, but this is still a problem.

We have the front_view tag for frontal view, side_view for side view, and... back_turned for rear view? And because of the aliases, it's tagged even when the back isn't visible: when a character is bent over but still viewed from behind, etc.

Needless to say, it's hard to keep it organized.

If any admin happens to read this... Please switch the alias around, and make either rear_view or view_from_behind the main tag instead of back_turned.

Hm. I think it'd fit, but maybe leave it unaliased for now. I'll keep an eye on it and see what kind of posts (if any) get tagged with it.

Uh oh.
One problem: all old tags seem to have gone missing. There's less than hundred under the main tag, when there used to be thousands.

I hope the server is just... catching up, and they're not untagged forever.

Edit: Still the same. Only posts under rear_view are the ones that I and the others have added since the change. Everything that was tagged under back_turned has gone missing.

Wiki search does work, but only from the index. I forgot to update the sidebar's search bar to use the new search parameters. I already pushed a fix for it so it should be live relatively soon.
