Implicating boss_monster → monster

Reason:

First, it's already in the initial tag. Second, 'boss monster' specifically states that they are a specific type of monster. Therefore, monster.

That would completely break twys.
The monster tag is for creatures that actually look monstrous. Most Undertale 'monsters' don't fit there.

...the abomination -> monster alias should probably be flipped around, to make the usage clearer.

The boss_monster tag already skirts TWYS (see forum #177110). I think basing an implication off of it would set an unfortunate precedent.

Denied. The monster tag is already an unpredictable mess. I'd rather this not get diluted even further

Besides Undertale, much of that is because of the monster_girl -> monster implication (which probably should've been unimplicated long ago). Most of the monster_girls don't actually look monstrous; if anything, they'd fit better under humanoid.

Maybe we should just wipe the whole monster tag and find replacements for it.

Tentacle_monster seems to be working pretty well for one subset of monsters.
And abomination could be kept specifically for things such as these:

Much of the rest would fit better under various existing tags such as feral, combined with nightmare_fuel.

That'd cover a good chunk of it, though I'm not sure what we'd do with the leftovers. There's some creatures that can't quite be described as anything else but a generic 'monster'.

+1 for moving monster -> abomination
+1 for monstrous_humanoid

What of the generic monster girls that aren't particularly monstrous? I suppose we could stick them in monstrous_humanoid for now but temporarily leave off any implications until it's sorted through.

So something like:

• monster -> abomination
• Actually monsterous humanoids -> monstrous_humanoid, abomination
• Questionably monstrous humanoids -> monstrous_humanoid

I kind of want to have a monster_(undertale) tag to just sort them all out, but "Monster" has essentially become the goto term for "Non-standard species of sapient persons," ie not elf, human, orc, dwarf, etc.

If we're still keeping the monster_girl tag for now, then I think we can simply add the humanoid tag to the non-monstrous ones. It'll be easier to figure out once the other things have been cleared out a bit.

I ran a mass edit to remove monster from boss_monster. If there are any abominations in there they can be retagged as needed.

That would be a fitting solution, like specifying both Papyrus and Sans as animate_skeleton.

dragon-kin was an early attempt at tagging dragon-like monster girls, before we came up with the humanoid tag. It's visually similar enough to alias to dragon_humanoid. (I couldn't submit it through the alias tool because of the existing aliases.)
