Implicating alligator → crocodilian
Link to implication

Reason:

Also crocodile -> crocodilian, caiman -> crocodilian, and crocodilian -> reptile.

Why? Because for search purposes it'd make sense to have them grouped together: they look similar enough. See ~crocodile ~alligator ~caiman. The current implications are to reptile, which feels too broad.

This would also mean that we have we have some way to tag the crocodilians that are ambiguous: it's often hard to tell the difference between an alligator and a crocodile.

I'm almost tempted to upload that for tagging_guidelines_illustrated...

That is a tag? Cool!
Shame that it is mostly used for when characters point out to something and say what it is rather than a proper guideline...

Solution: Alias both to crocogator :V

Seriously though, tentative +1. I think this one might be useful to simplify this group of species.

I've heard this word/name before, but never knew the exact meaning until I read the definition, and yeah, plus 1 for this.

YES PLEASE I had the exact issue when uploading this, and crocodilian would be the perfect tag (more specific than dragon or scalie) to apply to certain pokemons, like totodile.

If it were more relevant to e621, then yes.

Someone could probably photoshop in anthrofied alligators and crocodiles in place of the feral ones, with the characters' permission of course.

Alright. That settles it then.

I've made the following changes:

Sure why not. Approved

Not sure if you noticed, but you did an implication rather than an alias.
