Topic: [Feature] Suggesting multiple aliases or implications at once

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

~This feature has previously been proposed by Seven_Twenty, Asphyxia and myself (forum #57397, forum #82308, forum #197902)

Requested feature overview description.
The ability to suggest multiple tag implications/aliases at once. The extra suggestions will then be posted to the same thread as the original post automatically.

Why would it be useful?
As it currently is, people have different ways of making multiple suggestions.

Some people make multiple forum threads, which can often flood the forum page. Imagine if somebody was to suddenly suggest 700+ * -> pokémon requests and therefore made 700+ forum threads.

Other people instead put extra suggestions in the reason field of the suggestion form, which has the potential to get confusing. I wrote a more in depth post about this particular method at forum #197902. As well as that, only the first suggestion will be listed in the alias tracker.

The (probably best) method of doing right now it is making the post with one suggestion then immediately editing the post to contain extra suggestions, using the correct formatting and not filling up the reason field. The disadvantage is that these aliases are still not added to the aliases page, and have been missed out accidentally by admins on occasion.

Suggesting multiple from the form itself would prevent people making multiple posts and creating confusing reasons. Admins would eventually get around to all suggestions rather than accidentally missing some because they were never formally requested and it would also save users’ time having to edit their own posts.

What part(s) of the site page(s) are affected?
Implications, aliases

Given my own efforts in that regard (some of which are still pending staff review), +1 for this suggestion.
