but dat mass insecticide...

I like to follow the cartoon formula where bees don't die after stinging. It's silly, but I'm against mass death to bees. In fact, I want them to thrive. They are dying out, ya know?

Yup. Standardness need not to apply in art.

Or you could train a bunch of bees to carry knives at the enemy quickly.
It'd be easier than knife throwing.

Or some new breed. Part ant, part bee.

Ever heard of the cartoon show "Incredible Thunder Lizards"?

They do have bee assault rifles AND bee NUKES.

I can agree, the morons that look at your art then blam it probably go on the portal of evil and gripe at what they sullied their eyes with on there. So you know what, screw them, they probably areinto even weirder stuff than your own fetish.

So you know what, just be your self and draw what you enjoy for yourself, not for those who do not understand your unique fetish, and perhaps draw a
wider variety for the other viewers so that they might come to realize that you are you but are also flexible with what you draw.

So, I didn't read most of the thread, I just kind of scrolled down here to offer my advice.

BSting, I usually like your art. However, I often have it blacklisted because I really don't like the idea of being stung. I'll be all happy and warm and ready to go and then it's like "Oh God, not the bees!" It's like being splashed with cold water; it's what guys would call boner-killing.

Not for you, though, and that's okay because that's your thing. There's a picture you drew (I can't find it right now) where there's a fox, all surprised, with her tail up and her tush and pussy on display. That gets me going because I empathize with the fox; I kind of want to be caught by someone special like that. (Cue the creepy mail I'm going to get next week...) That's my thing.

Obviously, since it's more my thing, I'm going to prefer the versions of your art without the bees. I'm obviously going to be more likely to vote positively on things I enjoy. Similarly, other people are likely to vote down things they don't like or which they find disconcerting.

Along the same lines, I have scat stuff blacklisted because there's someone who draws Lion King scat art, which disgusts me... I like Lion King art, though, and if that person drew Lion King stuff without the scat, I might actually enjoy it. I'm not saying that he should give up what he likes, it's just that it doesn't appeal to me.

I don't like being stung, but I have the presence and tact not to complain about it too much. I think I might have commented in the past that I would enjoy your art more were it not for the bees. Again, that's my preference and the more you put your art out there, the more people will see it, and some folks may not be so reserved with their criticism. That's true of everyone who produces art or media.

I guess my point is to expect criticism, good and bad, and to acknowledge that not everyone is going to be into what you are. That doesn't mean you should stop creating art, and it doesn't make you a bad person. Just don't go stealing & editing art like this asshole and you'll be fine.
