After half hour trying I already gave up on uploading anything for the rest of the day :/, that unless I see a new post in the index.

Anybody else finding that PMs to NotMeNotYou and Rainbow_Dash are as dead as the Post board?

Yes, they do not seem to work for anybody currently, me included.

Updated by anonymous

@NotMeNotYou. I managed to PM ippiki_ookami OK and another user. I've also been PMd by another user, but can't PM yourself or Rainbow_Dash

Updated by anonymous

Strange, I can write you, but couldn't write another user half an hour ago and I can neither write RD or my test account.

Updated by anonymous

@NotMeNotYou. Yep. Got your Test message, but my reply to you died. Hmmm.

Updated by anonymous

Seems slightly ironic that just as the site decided to push up daisies, I got a PM that just read .

Just one of those weird coincidences I suppose :)

I just got this long error page

Getting a strange issue where images with tags on my blacklist are still showing up on certain pages, like they show up on page 1 but page 2 will properly block them and so forth, has been doing this since yesterday. Relogging and cleaning cache/cookies has had no effect on this.

I'm experiencing the same problem. I have double-checked my blacklist for syntax and/or missing tags, but my blacklist should clearly be blocking certain images that are appearing for me. Additionally, I have dumped my cache and session cookies, to no avail. As Omniscient noted above, it's only happening on a certain page of the post listing. For reference, the tags I noticed that did not respect the blacklist are:

my_little_pony
friendship_is_magic
cutie_mark

Blacklist isn't working correctly on my browsers (Opera 12 and Chrome 28).

It isn't blocking after few pages.
I blocked "solo + male" and "mlp" tags, but exactly on page 3 it is showing those as I never blocked it.
Yes, I checked both, pictures and blacklist to ensure.
This bug seems to happens only on page 3.

Samples...
http://e621.net/post/show/369371 mlp
http://e621.net/post/show/369362 mlp (this is exactly why I blocked this tag)
http://e621.net/post/show/369353 solo + male

http://e621.net/help/users doesn't have anything about Test Janitors :-(

Mostly because they weren't intended to be used, I don't even know why that user level was added in the first place. But then RD went and started using it, so who knows :P

Munkelzahn said:
http://e621.net/help/api#posts doesn't say how you can add a description when you create a post. I've tried post[description] but that doesn't work :-(

post[description] works in my copy, but it's gone through a lot of updates compared to what's live on e621.net right now so maybe something changed and fixed it. Either way, it'll work when we update if it doesn't work yet.

Yeah, no matter how many times I press the button it will still show those posts as unread >.<

Yeah, Varka created a glitch, he apparently changed either a system clock somewhere or changed the time manually in the database when the post was created, because the comment started out as "9 hours ago" and then the number went slowly down.

After the comment finally reached the "present" the glitch fixed itself.

They're new right? I don't remember seeing them before.

At least two Flash posts can't be deleted currently (post #370338 & post #317006).

I'd wager it has something to do with them having +150 Faves each.

It also changed the flag from the original flagger to one done by me.

Also not working for me, but I noticed that it transfers part of favorites to new post.

Which is why I believe that the faves are somehow to blame for this.

I sorta fixed it. All you had to do was deleting it again and again until all the favorites was transferred to the parent post, then it would fully delete the post.

I deleted one a couple times without the faves number decreasing any further.

I had the same problem with the Mario one, but changing the delete reason magically solved the problem.

When I try to access the main page of the website, I get a white page that says "Welcome to nginx". But if I use a link to enter the website on a different page, everything seems to work fine.

For some reason, opening links from my RSS feed for a tag sends me to, for instance, http://www.homeimprovement.com/e621.net/post/show/365609 instead of e521.net.

This started after I got home, so I am on a different internet connection from before.

I have the same problem. Disabling Firefox' autofixup I've seen that the RSS feed wants to adress for example https//e621.net/post/show/372957

See the missing colon? Thats the whole problem.

Now that you mentioned Forum Categories in the Changelog, I'd like to point out this small error that has been popping since a while in the Console

Inline script thread
Uncaught exception: TypeError: Cannot convert 'document.getElementById("cat"+hiddencats[i])' to object
Error thrown at line 920, column 2 in https://e621.net/forum:

It just appears when all category checkboxes are... well... checked.

The "apply tag script" option no longer works in Chrome.

It just goes to the picture.

Edit: Just tried it in Firefox, and Internet Explorer, does the same thing.
Looks like the tag script option is just broken.

How do you make a set? It doesn't say anywhere.

Sets > New at the top bar. Most parts where you can create something (posts, blips, forum posts, wiki entries) share this.

Edit: I see you got this figured out already. Right?

Edit #2: This is the bug report thread! These should've been on a new thread or the sets thread

Just noticed what I think might be a glitch. I was running a bunch of comparison tests between dragon hair and dragon *_hair to see how close the results were, adding any missing tags. Theoretically they should be pretty close to the same search.

But I noticed a few images with a much smaller *_hair type tag didn't show up on the *_hair results page. I thought it would bring up every single one with a variant off that tag, not just the biggest tags. Is this a technical glitch? And is it fixable? Some examples were ones tagged with teal_hair and hazel_hair which seemed to be omitted from the much broader dragon *_hair search, though they're obviously searchable directly. Both are under 30 images so they're much smaller-sized tags, which is the only thing I can see in common between them.

I don't know if it's a meta tag search issue, or if it's an issue that crops up with very large searches in general. But a search which is omitting less used tags doesn't seem like something it's supposed to be doing. Even if it is only a few images that it effects.

Two of the specific images which refused to show up in the "dragon *_hair" search were https://e621.net/post/show/368715 and https://e621.net/post/show/368258/ specifically, despite both being tagged with a *_hair type of tag. (comparing it to the "dragon hair" search for reference, they should be showing up near the bottom of the current 2nd page of results. All the images displayed on either side of them show up in the same order on both searches, with just a handful missing.)

Wildcard searches apparently have a tendency to not work right 100% of the time. I've never bothered really looking into it so I don't know what it does when it doesn't work right.

I've also found a bug in searches. Searching coc.swf on the posts page (or through this link) throws a 404 error. Though the link from the tags search page still works.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Gotta keep trying it.

If you are still getting errors, trying deleting your browser's cache and cookies, then restarting. You may have old (bad) data stuck in the browser's memory.

No, the alias bug is entirely on the server's end.

I´m in private mode (FF) and I just restarted the browser.

Everything normal now

When logged in all comments don't have report option, but only to hide them. (I didn't test whether it works.) Forum posts still have report option so I guess that this isn't janitor status feature.

When on the User List page, searching by Reccord results in an error that say "ActiveRecord::StatementInvalid in UserController#index"

I haven't tried any of the other functions, but the "Approve Post" option on the Post drop-down menu doesn't approve posts.
