Wait, that dark blue part of Judy's uniform is a bulletproof vest? I've got a whole lot of posts to re-tag now.

What did you think it was?

I thought it was a normal vest to spice up her design. I never thought it had a practical purpose before, though it makes sense now that I know.

She has several pieces of armor on her: The vest, wrist guards, knee pads and ankle guards.

I haven't really noticed those ever, I guess I don't really pay attention to the visual aspects of characters, at least not the clothing.

Alias knee_pads -> armor
Alias wrist_guards -> armor
Alias ankle_guards -> armor

Again, good tagging potential because Zootopia.

-1 on these. There are versions of these meant to be worn during sports which could technically fit as armor, but a lot of people don't consider it so.

Implicating bulletproof_vest → armor
Link to implication

Reason:

A bulletproof vest is an article of armor.

Sort of, and yet probably not the kind of thing people are searching for under 'armor'; things like chainmail and breastplate are more suitable to the armor tag.

Aliasing bulletproof_vest to body_armor makes more sense to me, as body_armor is the modern term for the type of 'tactical' protection worn by LEOs and soldiers.

EDIT:

The term 'bulletproof' is rarely utilized now, as modern ballistics have rendered almost nothing 'bulletproof', and may even be a bit of a superstition amongst the law enforcement community. The terms ballistic_vest and body_armor have taken precedence.
