I'm not even English, but I still spell it that way. Either way, the tyres tag was cleaned, so I don't think an alias is necessary.

If I didnt have a character named Tyre I would be totally down for this.

But the fact that not only I have a character named Tyre but the fact others I know do too Id hold off on an alias. Tyre also seems like its a bit more deliberate. After all Ture seems like a more likely typo

English is weird like that. Silent letters, Y encroaching on I's territory, words loaned from other languages but not respelled so that they make sense.

Try asking someone to spell "phlegm" for the first time. They always get it wrong and it's not hard to figure out why.
