I think they meant the Switch Dog, not Nintendo Switch as whole.

Nintendo Switch is an odd case in that it's default state involves both the console and the controllers together. Divided up, you could tag console and controller separately but joined together, you probably wouldn't bother acknowledging the controllers as controllers.

That was similar to my thinking.
However should the Dog be tagged as controller even? I would guess that animate_inanimate fits it far better and you could then seperately search images where there's an actual controllers on top of them:
