Topic: Tag Implication: chain-link_fence -> fence

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

1. you might want to update the title

2. actually the alias is still needed. considering how often it was tagged, it needs to be aliased to correct tag. one clean up is not going to stop people from using a tag that was that frequently in use

Update: I've now replaced all the tags in chainlink_fence and chain_link_fence with chain-link_fence, so the aliases are no longer needed and the OP has been edited.

What are you talking about?

Common mistags like that should always be aliased, no matter how easy it is to fix them afterwards. Not only does this prevent more mistags in the future, it lets people search for it without figuring out which wordbreaks to use or not.

Said and done.

This thread was originally about aliasing two tags (chainlink_fence and chain_link_fence), but I decided to manually replace them with the tag I wanted them to be aliased to, namely chain-link_fence.

Okay, I'll edit the OP right away.
