Looks like people are using armwear instead of more specific tags like bridal_gauntlets and detached_sleeves. Major cleanup is in order.

You forgot to count "arm_warmers", and the renamon's case isn't that bad, depending of the view angle its bridal glauntets look more like arm warmers.

~950 armwear -detached_sleeves -elbow_gloves -bridal_gauntlets -arm_warmers. Didn't make much of a difference.
I included the renamon stat because renamon is a good example of a species that is known for wearing bridal_gauntlets and I couldn't be bothered thinking of examples for the others.
