Actually I like the idea, but since "blurred_background" and "depth_of_field" have considerably close meanings (maybe enough for an alias), I guess we should discuss them first.

Yes, blurred background is more like a suptype of depth of field, but I still think this may be the case for an alias; I mean, does maintain a distinction between blurred foreground and background is really needed? We apparently even have a specific tag for blurred foreground.
