Topic: Tags and pools

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

So, I've never gotten verification on something, and have been somewhat reluctant to start messing with it.
With pools, particularly involving comics, is it still a TWYS per image situation?
Or do is is acceptable to tag the comic in general?

I know it seems fairly obvious, and I would generally assume TWYS.
Problem is, tagging based on comic instead of image is a quite prolific, I see a lot of it, so I was unsure as to the actual application of the rules.

I'm just hoping to get a verification before I go and remove tags from some of these comics.

I think tagging in comics is still per-image. The data is finer-grained that way, and it's much easier to verify tags.

That's what I'm thinking too, but I want to be certain before I start messing with those tags.

The only exception I know of is being able to tag "incest" and the various family members (brother, sister, etc). I'd say only one page in the comic is needed to establish those relationships for the rest of the comic, and the pages should be tagged as such.

As far as tagging gender... it's still a bit up in the air for me. I think I'd lean towards letting the comic establish that too, but I don't know for sure.

Ask aurali nicely to make the pools themselves tag and searchable, that would allow us to search and tag the images individually but also tag the pool with everything occurring in it to make blacklisting more useful.

But I guess she is too swamped with other things at the moment for something like this.
