Requested feature overview description.
Change the explanation on the Request Name change ticket to include language that submitting the request relinquishes the username and allows other users to snag it up for themselves.
Why would it be useful?
Because that is what happens on the software side and we have to manually fix it if someone does abuse it.

The namechange is not automated, but must be approved by an Administrator. Requests are usually handled within 24 hours, but it may take up to 3 days to process. Once the name change has been approved your old username will be freed up and is able to used by other users. Please ensure that you are willing to risk losing your name!
